Nichole & Eddie

Nichole & Eddie had an amazing wedding on May 2nd. The ceremony and reception were held at beautiful Wadley Farms in Lindon. Here are a few favorites from their special day.

Nichole's amazing dress.

She looked incredible!

The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous.

The weather was perfect! Sunny and warm with a blue, blue sky.

I adore this shot Aubrey caught of Nichole during the ceremony.

The rings!

You may now kiss the bride!

Check out this awesome red barn. It made a neat backdrop for the formals.

I got this photo by accident! But I LOVE how it turned out.

This one was not an accident. Check out how hot these two are!

These two could not stop kissing! (Not that I was complaining.)
I guess that's what happens when you're madly in love and newly married.

Yup. Totally in love :)

Now for a few detail shots.
I was loooving their flowers. So gorgeous.

And the rings!! They were incredible.

Now, we know we tend to go a little nuts when it comes to the ring shots and this wedding was no exception. But for your sake, I narrowed it down to my two favorites.
I couldn't leave out the doorknob shot. I love it.

How cute are these?! Such an awesome detail.

They chose an amazing wedding cake. Gorgeous and delicious.
(Yes, we had a bite or two :)

They had a great reception filled with family, friends, and delicious food.

Oh yeah. We found out what the kids were up to while everyone else was enjoying cake!

Eddie and Nichole, it was an amazing day and we're honored to have been a part of it. We just hope your life together is even more amazing!

Caitlin

Senior season is in full swing! This time around it was my darling cousin Caitlin. She's graduating this week from Timpview High School!! (Go T-Birds!)

She lives right near downtown Provo and how convenient, because it just happens to be one of my favorite places to shoot. A whole bunch of neat locations all within a few blocks? What more could you ask for! All of my favorite brick walls are within a five minute walk. I love it.

What's a smokin' senior session without a little grunge? She totally rocked it.

I almost had a heart attack when a flock of pigeons flew out of that stairwell! I don't do well with those kind of surprises. Luckily, there were no casualties and we got straight back to shooting.

Ok, enough with the creepy, dark alley and back to safer territory.

Yeah, we totally have a love affair with this wall. We used it here and here and don't worry, I'm sure we'll be back again.

I loved her blue shirt against the red brick. It made her face just pop!

Then right across the street to the court building. We took advantage of the awesome columns and gorgeous natural light.

We finished up the day with a little studio action. Caitlin looked so hot in these headshots.

Look how her eyes just leap out at you!

Caitlin, you're officially a graduate! (Well, in two days anyway.)

Jake & Alisa

Presenting....

The new Mr. and Mrs. Jake and Alisa Gardiner!

We spent a beautiful spring day in Manti with Alisa and Jake for their wedding. Alisa made an absolutely gorgeous bride and Jake couldn't keep his eyes off her! They are an amazing couple and are so in love!

The weather [almost] cooperated perfectly. Other than a freak thunderstorm out of no where (that lasted all of 10 minutes!) it was warm, beautiful sunshine...a welcome change after the long hard Utah winter!

Doesn't she take your breath away?

and the handsome groom:

Remember what an amazing twirler Alisa was? We couldn't resist a few of them twirling together!

I have only seen the Manti temple a few times in my life, and how lucky am I to get to photograph two weddings there in the last month?! It has such beautiful architecture and amazing details.

They are so in love!

They chose to go a lower-stress route and hold their reception the next day. Can I just say what a fan I am of this?! They got to go to the temple in the morning and spend the rest of the day relaxing and just being together as newlyweds. The next day they could take their time finalizing all the details to be relaxed and ready for their reception later that night!

Their colors were gold and black. It was such an elegant, beautiful reception, and they carried the colors through to every little detail!

A little cake cutting action:

And what wedding would be complete without a yummy chocolate fountain and all the fruit and treats to go with it?

The reception turned into quite a party! Alisa and Jake started things off with their first dance as husband and wife...

..and everyone else soon followed! It turned into a big dance party, with a little karaoke on the side!

Alisa and Jake...thank you for letting us spend your special day with you. Your wedding was beautiful, and we know you will have a beautiful life together!
