Lexie

Lexie and I spent a great morning together shooting her senior photos. I'm proud to announce she'll be graduating from Orem High next month. (Go Tigers!)

When I asked her where she wanted her photos done, she said "I don't care, whatever you want."
Dangerous words, my dear. Muah-ha-ha. (Insert maniacal laughter.)
She pretty much gave me the freedom to do whatever I wanted with her. It might have been a little scary at times, but she survived. And I think her photos turned out dang good too.

We decided to hit up downtown Salt Lake City. If you'll remember my favorite location of all time, you'll know how excited I was to be shooting there again. If you guessed the Rio Grande train station, you would be correct.

The yummy natural light made her gorgeous eyes POP!

And, of course we had to have a little fun. The security guard was eyeing us, but I was confident we could outrun him if it came to that :)

Then we headed outside to City Hall. It was windy and chilly, but the sun was shining. Besides, the grass was such a bright green, we couldn't pass it up.

Yeah. We were having a good time.

Sexy Lexie, I love these photos of your pretty face!

Last stop. We headed across the street to the City Library. We had to take advantage of the awesome architecture.

Who knew sweet, little Lexie could have so much attitude?!

We spotted this step outside the library and I thought it was pretty fitting.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Lexie, I love you to bits and had such a blast hanging out with you. Congratulations on graduating and I hope your post-high school life is amazing!

Celeste & Jayson - Part I

I had such an incredible time photographing Celeste & Jayson's wedding. Not only was it awesome to see my own family, but it gave me a break from this Utah winter. A weekend in southern California was just what I needed to make it until spring.

The ceremony was held at the brand-new, gorgeous, Newport Beach Temple.

Being able to walk outside without side-stepping snowdrifts was awesome. Check out the green grass! I had almost forgotten what it looked like.
Oh, and let's not forget the adorable Misses Kaylee and Amarah in their darling dresses...

...who found plenty of ways to entertain themselves while waiting for the newlyweds.

Just married!!

A quick fix from Dad and we're ready to go.

Hooray!!

Finally, some alone time. (Except for me, of course!)

I adored their color palette. Perfect for spring in California! I couldn't get enough shots of their gorgeous flowers.

These two are adorable together!

And very much in love...

What did I tell you? Absolutely perfect weather! My neck even got a bit sunburned.

Jayson & Celeste, I hope you enjoyed your magical day.
Stay tuned for the rest of the photos! We're only half done!

Hilary's Senior Session

Hilary and I had a short and sweet session in downtown Provo. We started the day out in her ballet studio. I have lots of great dancing ones of her...but I love the mood of this one.

Then it was off to the courthouse for some gorgeous headshots. She has such perfect skin and sparkling eyes, I love it!

Alisa

You know how some people just have one of those smiles that when they laugh/smile...you can't help but do it too??

Meet Alisa!!

We had such a blast shooting her bridals. We started out at the Star Mill in American Fork. It is a little antique store with lots of fun stuff. Alisa wanted her photos to have an old, vintage, shabby look to them.

Isn't she beautiful?

Then it was off to Provo for some downtown fun. Alisa was such a good sport, we had her walking all over downtown! I think we had her "twirl" for us over 100 times!!

Remember that smile I was talking about? She has such a fun personality and made some of the funniest faces...I couldn't help but share!

Thanks for going along with all our crazy ideas! Can't wait for your upcoming wedding!
