Canyon Fun: Senior Style

Marshall and I discovered a part of Provo canyon that I've never explored before. Right at the mouth there are so many cool spots! We hit that awesome bridge along the bike trail and found an old, falling apart, rusty building/substation/who knows what it was.
All I know was that it was made of awesome red brick, was covered with graffiti, and had neat signs like, DANGER: HIGH VOLTAGE.
He told me not to make him do anything girly, so I held back on the prancing and skipping and twirling. But despite those restrictions, I'm pretty sure I succeeded in turning him into the next GQ cover.

Adventures in Photography

I like to think that my creativity makes me stand out as a photographer. Maybe that's all in my head, but you have to admit. These are pretty cool.
Bridal Veil Falls in a rain storm. If that's not creative, I don't know what is.
If you recall, we've already done a wicked-awesome photoshoot with Alexis. Somehow, I talked her into it again. Only this time was a little different.
We've already experienced warm and sunny and dry. This time around it could not have been more cold and wet and rainy. It was a downpour the whole time. But, we decided if we're going to get wet anyways, we might as well go all out.
And we did.
Poor Alexis. The things she suffers for my photographic vision.
We were hypothermic and soaked to the bone by the time we finished, but, at least in my mind, it was so worth it.

Things happen when you "know people"

For how new we are at this whole photography business thing, we sure have gotten some great opportunities already.
Example: Photographing the Miss American Fork pageant a few weeks ago. Jason's sister Staci was in charge of the whole thing and brought us on board. It was great and we had a blast

A few days ago we were sitting on the couch waiting to go to a family photoshoot. Ten minutes later we were at the high school being hoisted over the football field in the aerial platform on one of the fire trucks!

Turns out, they had just remodeled the field with turf instead of grass and wanted some bird's eye photos. One of the fire guys brought his point-and-shoot and tried to get the job done. Apparently it wasn't working so well.
So, seeing as Aubrey and Jason work for the fire department, they knew right who to call.
We got to watch the homecoming game from 100 feet in the air!
Oh yeah. And take photos of the new field.

(I hate to admit it, but we felt pretty important with a huge crowd of high-schoolers staring at us the whole time. Wishing they were us...wondering who we were...how we got to be so cool...)

So who knows? One of our photos could hang in the mayor's office. Or be printed in the yearbook. Or be put in some time capsule, immortalizing our names.
It could happen.

WE'RE LIVE!

We apologize.
We've been very lax about our photoblogging.
However, we hope that will soon change. All of our efforts have been going towards our website. But, I am proud to announce that it is finished! Every thing you could ever need to know about us is here. So check it out!
