Presenting....
The new Mr. and Mrs. Jake and Alisa Gardiner!
We spent a beautiful spring day in Manti with Alisa and Jake for their wedding. Alisa made an absolutely gorgeous bride and Jake couldn't keep his eyes off her! They are an amazing couple and are so in love!
The weather [almost] cooperated perfectly. Other than a freak thunderstorm out of no where (that lasted all of 10 minutes!) it was warm, beautiful sunshine...a welcome change after the long hard Utah winter!
Doesn't she take your breath away?
and the handsome groom:
Remember what an amazing twirler Alisa was? We couldn't resist a few of them twirling together!
I have only seen the Manti temple a few times in my life, and how lucky am I to get to photograph two weddings there in the last month?! It has such beautiful architecture and amazing details.
They are so in love!
They chose to go a lower-stress route and hold their reception the next day. Can I just say what a fan I am of this?! They got to go to the temple in the morning and spend the rest of the day relaxing and just being together as newlyweds. The next day they could take their time finalizing all the details to be relaxed and ready for their reception later that night!
Their colors were gold and black. It was such an elegant, beautiful reception, and they carried the colors through to every little detail!
A little cake cutting action:
And what wedding would be complete without a yummy chocolate fountain and all the fruit and treats to go with it?
The reception turned into quite a party! Alisa and Jake started things off with their first dance as husband and wife...
..and everyone else soon followed! It turned into a big dance party, with a little karaoke on the side!
Alisa and Jake...thank you for letting us spend your special day with you. Your wedding was beautiful, and we know you will have a beautiful life together!

Those are very pretty pictures Sam. My favorite one is where her arms are wrapped around his leg.
